for your safety practices?
Consider entering your utility in the Michigan Section’s Safety Award Competition.
The competition is administered by the Safety Practices Committee and is intended to recognize excellence in water utility safety programs. The competition involves the review and evaluation of the utilities’ safety record and safety program. All Michigan Section winners (by size/classification) will be entered in the AWWA National Wendell R. La Due Safety Award competition for possible national recognition. In addition to distributing awards in each classification, the Safety Practices Committee will also recognize utilities that have shown dedication and progress in providing a safe work place.
To enter, complete the form and submit it to the address below. The deadline for submission of an application is February 1, 2006. Please note that this deadline is earlier than the deadline for last year due to a change in the deadline for nomination for the National AWWA award.
