Ann Arbor Booster Stations

               For Sale

The City of Ann Arbor Water Utilities Department has two booster pumping stations for sale.  They are currently in operating and in excellent condition.  These stations will no longer be needed by the City of Ann Arbor after January 1, 2003 because of associated improvements that are being made in its distribution system.  If you are interested in visiting one or both of the stations, please contact Brian Steglitz/Senior Utilities Engineer at (734) 994-2840 to schedule an appointment.  The City will be entertaining offers until December 31, 2002.

 

The following is a description of the two stations:

Barclay Park Pumping Station

Model C1260GM Skid Mounted Water Booster Pump Station containing one 20 GPM Multi-Stage Pump, two 275 GPM (112 feet TDH) Distribution Pumps, and one 1500 GPM (112 feet TDH) High Capacity Pump, with electric motor drives, electric motor starting equipment and a control system to operate the pumps.  An alarm system is also provided.  Two hydropneumatic tanks are also provided with the station to maintain flow during periods of low consumption.    Station provided by USEMCO in 1999.

Arbor Hill Pumping Station

Model 3-CS-(1MCC/2CCH)-(2LT)-1200-70  Skid Mounted Booster Pump Station containing  one 240 GPM Pump and two 600 GPM Pumps.  The system design capacity is 1200 GPM at 145 feet TDH.  Station also includes (2) 175 Gallon Tanks, Temperature Probes, Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controller, Pressure Gauges, Data Industrial 220-B Flow Sensor, Durant 405 Flow Monitor and Power Factor Correction Capacitors.   An alarm system is also provided.   Station provided by Liqui-trol Systems in 1995.
