Groundwater

 
Purpose:

The purpose of the Groundwater Committee is to evaluate the service of the Section to the groundwater segment of its membership, and identify and advise the Board of areas in which such service might be improved.
 

Committee Membership:

The Groundwater Committee is composed of 15-20 members, all of whom represent utilities using groundwater or may be directly involved in groundwater source development.

Functions:

This committee determines appropriate programs involving those utilities which utilize groundwater.  Programs could include surveys, articles for the Water Works News, tip-sheets, and workshops.  Maintain the Groundwater Conference on a regular basis; every three years.
