Lead Facilitator: Hillary Caron and Bonnifer Ballard

  • Human water cycle, where do you fit in?
  • Mentor/Mentee match*

*Mentorship – experienced professionals will be matched with individuals in the cohort. Mentor meetings will take place outside the scheduled class time.

In the first session, we will explore the various aspects of the human water cycle. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how water undergoes continuous transformation and the process of treating, delivering, using, and reclaiming water for public use. Covering this foundational information will help students to better understand their role in the water sector. Then, an overview of mentoring will be reviewed, with students engaging in activities that help them prepare to select their mentor, a key component of The Deep End program.

Learning objectives

  • Gain an appreciation for your role in the water sector.
