U.P. Water Conference
Bringing Michigan's Water Community Together in the Upper Peninsula
Bringing Michigan's Water Community Together in the Upper Peninsula
For decades, MI-AWWA has proudly supported water professionals across Michigan's Upper Peninsula through two annual conferences designed to provide high-quality education, networking, and technical resources close to home.
Held each spring and fall, the Upper Peninsula Water Conferences bring together operators, utility managers, engineers, regulators, manufacturers, consultants, and industry partners to share knowledge, explore new technologies, and strengthen the relationships that keep Michigan's drinking water systems safe and reliable.
These conferences reflect MI-AWWA's ongoing commitment to serving communities throughout the Upper Peninsula and ensuring water professionals have access to meaningful educational opportunities without the need to travel long distances.

Spring & Fall Conferences
Each year, MI-AWWA hosts two Upper Peninsula Water Conferences featuring:
- Technical education sessions
- Continuing Education Credit (CEC) opportunities
- Industry exhibits
- Networking with peers and industry professionals
- Updates on regulations, best practices, and emerging issues
- Vendor demonstrations and product information
Whether you're attending for the first time or returning each year, the conferences offer valuable opportunities to learn, connect, and support Michigan's drinking water community.
Continuing Education Credits
Certified drinking water operators may earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) by attending eligible conference sessions.
The number of available CECs will be listed for each conference and is subject to approval by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE).
