Working Together to Advance Michigan's Water Community
MI-AWWA's success is driven by dedicated volunteers and staff working together to support our mission of A Better Michigan Through Better Water.
From committee volunteers and council leaders to the Board of Trustees and staff, each plays an important role in providing education, advancing the profession, supporting members, and strengthening Michigan's drinking water community.
Whether you're interested in volunteering, leading a committee, or simply learning more about how the Section operates, there's a place for you to get involved.
MI-AWWA's leadership structure is designed to encourage collaboration, develop future leaders, and ensure the Section remains responsive to the needs of its members.
Each group has a unique role, but all work together to support the Strategic and Business Plans and deliver programs and services throughout the year.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees serves as the governing body of MI-AWWA. The Board establishes the strategic direction of the Section, adopts policies, oversees finances, and ensures the organization fulfills its mission.
