The Michigan Section operates with five councils overseeing the activities of the organization. There are many committees within the councils that implement the activities.

Communications Council
| The purpose of this council is to serve as a resource for the development and implementation of programs designed to improve the water industry’s image and to oversee internal communication to assure an informed membership. | See the Communications Council |
