Best Tasting Water Committee
The Best-Tasting Water in Michigan Contest celebrates the high-quality drinking water provided by public water systems across the state.
-
Who can enter? Only Michigan public water supplies.
-
How is it judged? A panel of judges evaluates appearance, aroma, and taste in a blind taste test.
How it works:
-
Regional Contests – Four regional winners are selected through local competitions.
-
State Finals – Regional champions compete for the title of Best-Tasting Water in Michigan.
-
National Stage – The state winner represents Michigan at the AWWA ACE in June, competing against other states.
This contest highlights the skill and dedication of Michigan’s water professionals in delivering safe, clean, and refreshing drinking water.
