One Water – Distribution and Field Operations
Lead Facilitator: Matthew Weldon
An overview of where the distribution system fits in the urban water cycle. Students will receive the basic principles of how to operate a distribution system as efficiently as possible. To include pipes (transmission mains, distribution mains, services), valve selection, pumps, tanks, community water supply permits (EDDY), and possibly a tour of a pump station.
