Field Service Technician III

Position Responsibilities: 

In a typical day a FSTIII would be assigned the following tasks:

  •  Install 5/8” to 1” water meters and endpoints at customer location.
  • Document installation of water meters and endpoints on work orders.
  • Repair water meters, water valves; locate leaks and blockages in pipes and lines.
  • Inspect installation, repair, and replacement of water meters.
  • Document water meter usage and note condition of meters including reporting situations in need of repair.
  • Operate trucks and other equipment to haul materials to and from work site and during repair and/or maintenance operations.
  • Maintain records of daily activities as prescribed by the company. 
  • Navigate GPS unit.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize computer tablet to compile work orders.


Position Requirements:

  • Mechanical ability with experience in public works, construction contracting or mechanical field preferred.
  • Ability to commute (must have driver’s license, vehicle), willingness to travel, work in person.
