Position Responsibilities:

Working with the owner, we provide expert operation, maintenance, and asset management for public and private systems.
We are currently looking for a talented WATER / WASTEWATER OPERATIONS SPECIALIST to join our growing team in the Marine City, Michigan area.

Responsibilities:
- Perform wastewater treatment plant and sanitary sewer pump station operation and maintenance.
- Respond to wastewater emergencies.
- Perform wastewater sampling and monitoring.
- Perform facility maintenance and housekeeping.
- Keep accurate records.
Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant wastewater treatment experience.
- Possession of a Class D or higher Michigan Municipal wastewater certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow oral and written technical directions.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and the public.
- Team player who is willing to pitch in.
