New Drinking Water Week assets, including social media graphics, are available to download through AWWA’s website for this year’s Drinking Water Week celebration, May 3-9.

Drinking Water Week materials can be used by members to engage with consumers, public officials and media about the reliability of drinking water and the dedicated professionals associated with delivering water from collection to consumption.

AWWA recently added new social media resources to this year’s toolkit, including short-form video prompts to help utilities showcase their people, processes and impact, as well as a suite of graphics sized for optimal performance across social platforms (X, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram).

Additional materials available to download include:

  • Logos
  • Suggested social media posts
  • How to create your own local influencer campaign
  • Mayoral and gubernatorial proclamations
  • Radio public service announcements
  • Press release templates
  • Children’s activity sheets

More resources, including classroom lessons for elementary and high school children, are available on DrinkTap’s Kid's Place. For other celebration ideas, visit Drinking Water Week’s webpage.
