Share Your Work, Gain Recognition, and Advance in the Industry

The Section is looking for presentations with the latest and greatest research, projects, and solutions in the drinking water industry on topics requested by attendees including, but not limited to:

  • A local hot topic applicable in the regional area location
  • Operator focused interaction with drinking water quality  
  • PFAS and emerging contaminants impact on treatment/operators
  • Effective water conditioning/treatment operations 
  • Maintenance/life cycle equipment to prevent main breaks
  • Cross connection 101 
  • Hydraulics of pump equipment 
  • Water conservation in treatment operations
  • Operator’s involvement in community/education Initiatives 

October 15: Gaylord 
October 16: Livonia
October 17: Grand Rapids

MI-AWWA Regional Water Seminars are offered in three locations throughout the lower peninsula of Michigan and are an excellent source of information related to drinking water that traditionally focuses on water distribution in the fall.  

8:25 am – 2:45 pm (lunch included)
45 minute presentations
