JOB: Superintendent (Mancelona)

Superintendent 

Location:  Mancelona Area Water & Sewer Authority

General Summary

Primary function of this position is the responsibility for the operation & maintenance of the Mancelona Area Water and Sewer Authority (MAWSA). Works in conjunction with the MAWSA Office Manager/Controller, under the direction of the MAWSA Board. Oversees project design and oversight, drinking water treatment operations, the sewer collection system, manages staff, and conducts field work as necessary. Is responsible for system EGLE and EPA reporting. Provides leadership and oversight to the Field Manager and assigned water operators. Will need to acquire D-2 and a S-3 certification to operate the system. Compensation depends on current qualifications.
