Stefanie Burns

Stefanie Haapala Burns works for the Great Lakes Water Authority where she leads digital communication initiatives and marketing. As a writer and artist, she builds narratives through strategic storytelling and accessible content. Stefanie is a member of the AWWA DEI Standards committee and is actively engaged in work with the National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF) and Michigan's arts and culture scene. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Michigan State University.
