Come join the MI-AWWA Young Professionals as they tour the Donald K. Shine Water Treatment Plant in Wyoming on Thursday May 2nd, followed by a mixer at New Holland Brewing at 3:45pm for drinks, appetizers, and networking.

The City of Wyoming has been using Lake Michigan as a source of drinking water since 1966. Water Treatment Plant improvements over the years have expanded the treatment capacity of the plant from its original 32 million gallons per day to 120 million gallons per day to meet the demands of Wyoming and customer communities which have grown significantly since the early 1960s.
